Kids Mindfulness and Yoga- Drop In

The Kids Mindfulness and Yoga Class:
This class will expand on mindfulness techniques taught through the Mindful Kids program through creative play, expression, and yoga. Learning mindfulness techniques at a young age sets forward a path of assuredness, good decision-making, emotional maturity, and self-confidence – as children learn the life skills of dealing with distraction, overwhelm, anxiety and uncertainty.
Kids will learn how to tame big emotions and be given the tools to help them understand the way that their minds, bodies, and breath work together for boosted feel-good energy. Children will become engaged through expressive play and feel connected and supported by their peers learning compassion towards self and others, increased self esteem and confidence, and compassion. There will be laughter, smiles, ah-ha moments and lots of fun here!
Kids Yoga will promote the foundational principles of “adult” yoga with the added element of fun! We will dance, laugh, sing and move our way through a magical yoga adventure, journeying through mindfulness games and tools, stories and songs that encourage:
