Lunchtime Zoom Meditation
May 26 at 11:30 am - 12:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 11:30 am on Tuesday, repeating until May 26, 2020
Please join us for a virtual focused, metta style loving kindness meditation.
Metta meditation (also called Loving Kindness) is a traditional Buddhist concentration technique where we direct loving kindness toward ourselves and then, in a sequence of expansion, towards somebody we love already. Somebody we are neutral towards. Somebody we have difficulty with. And ultimately toward all beings everywhere without distinction.
During metta meditation, you may be amazed to discover your capacity for loving kindness, both for yourself and for others. Practicing this form of meditation involves opening ourselves up and allowing love to flow through us, benefiting those around us energetically and ourselves as we discover that everything ultimately comes back to love.
Help us focus on all of humanity intentionally and help ease the fear in the collective consciousness as we continue to embrace new ways of being as our world prepares to shift yet again. Love for yourself, for those around you and for all of humankind.
