Take your healing into your body for real results, and join us for this Somatic Breathwork Experience with Breanne Queen.
Soma = body. When we work within the body, we achieve deeper healing. The body holds all our trauma, emotions, and old energies that can negatively affect our mental and physical health. By engaging the body, we create a space for release, leading to improved health and well-being. Using somatics, we achieve faster and deeper healing than we otherwise could by focusing solely on the mind.
In this Somatic Breathwork Experience, you will be guided to drop into your body and use somatics—breath, movement, and sounding—to create a space for your body to release and heal on a deeper level. The effects of somatic work are felt immediately and can produce profound shifts in your mental and emotional well-being.
Somatic breathwork can bring about deeper healing. This class is most appropriate for people who feel comfortable with these shifts. If you are new to breathwork and don’t feel comfortable with deeper healing in a group setting, it is best to start with the Introduction to Breathwork or Breathwork for Stress Relief sessions before this one.
PLEASE BRING:
Please bring a water bottle and, if you wish, a journal and pen. Blankets, eye pillows, yoga mats, and other props are provided, or participants are welcome to bring preferred items from home.
PLEASE NOTE:
You will be lying down on a yoga mat on the floor, cozy with blankets and pillows, for most of this session. Please keep this in mind if you have mobility challenges.
