Meet the facilitator:
Liane Wood is a Registered Psychotherapist with a private practice in Belleville Ontario Canada. She is also a psychiatric service dog handler and has been involved with working around service animals and therapy animals for over 6 years. She has seen and experienced the good, the bad and the ugly when it comes to these types of animals whether we’re talking about clients/patients trying to get support from their health practitioners when the practitioner may not have enough knowledge in this area, or trying to navigate the process of obtaining an animal which is often riddled with hurdles, to working with putting together the required documentation for public access that maximizes effectiveness without jeopardizing or compromising an individual’s private health information. She has specifically designed this seminar to help regulated health practitioners in Ontario Canada gain clarity, insight and competence around this complex and nuanced topic.
