Please join Angie Wellman, Registered Psychotherapist, for this 6-week psychoeducation/support group for Families of People With Addictions.
This group is for parents, spouses and other loved ones of people with substance use issues. Discussions will address addiction, family dynamics, how you can support yourself and your person, and how you can stay well even if your person is unwell.
It can take a lot of courage to attend a group and share that your family has been touched by addiction. The truth is, so many families are, and you are not alone. Healing can come simply be being in the presence of others who are struggling with similar things. You will always have the option to share or simply listen each time we meet. Let’s remove the shame and stigma.
