—————-
This International Women’s Day, She Thrives – Women’s Wellness Centre – is hosting a FREE celebration – where we will honour and celebrate all women!
Join us as we engage in loving and insightful conversations on topics that get us talking!
Four discussion circles will be facilitated by team members at She Thrives. Participants will be invited to share their thoughts, ideas, questions and experiences – as much or as little as they like! The hope is that we experience rich discussions that re-mind us of our amazingness and encourage us to live our very best life!
We invite registrants to choose TWO discussion circles to participate in during the evening from the four choices available:
1) Putting Yourself First: The Importance of Self Care (facilitated by Hilary Foster – Life Coach)
Are you tired of putting yourself last? Are you feeling energetically drained or depleted? Are you feeling like it’s your time and you’re ready to start giving back to yourself? As the caretakers and givers of the world, often times we’re the last person on the list to look after…if we’re on the list at all. It’s time to change that. Join this discussion circle where we will dive into the importance of self-care, why it’s the LEAST selfish thing you can do and how you can start effortlessly making empowering changes in your life. Discuss, share and learn how a little shift in your self-care game can drastically improve your sense of fulfillment and well-being.
2) Creating and Cultivating Authentic Happiness (facilitated by Liane Wood – Psychotherapist)
If you could use more happiness in your life, real, gut-level, genuine happiness – not the grin and bear it type – then this discussion is for you. Discover and discuss what’s holding us back from being happy, get tips to help you realize where your happiness is and recognize what is bringing you happiness in your life, and gain insight on how to implement happiness into your everyday routines.
3) Building Meaningful Connections: The Power of Community (facilitated by Stef Bourke – Community Engagement Facilitator)

In a time where we  are given more ways to connect with people than ever before, do you feel like your connected at all? When life is moving so fast, are your personal relationships the first thing that fall off the priority list? Are you feeling isolated, or unsatisfied in your current relationships? In this conversation, we will explore our human need for connection, what it truly means to experience connection, the different kinds of connections we have in our lives and what prevents us from building rewarding relationships with others. It is our aim that throughout this process, we can uncover strategies on how to build a supportive personal community, one relationship at a time.

4) #TrueYou: How Getting Real Creates Space for Healing (facilitated by Sarah Hutchison – Chief Empowering Officer)
There is something quite cathartic about being real. So much of our busy lives are lived out of alignment with our deepest knowings about ourselves. So it’s exhilarating when we are able to rediscover our passions and realign – it feels like a coming home. Join us for this opportunity to explore how to show up as the truest you, discuss how sharing our real stories is a catalyst for healing, and learn more ways to honour the awesomeness that is you.
*Pre-registration for this event is required* Please note you will be asked to choose the two discussion circle topics you want to participate in upon registration.
Refreshments will be served.
