Imitation is a form of flattery, but how do you make your writing more original than imitation? How do you describe in a way that is not predictable?
Here is a workshop to help aspiring writers and storytellers to play with and develop metaphors that are fun to write, original, and leave a lasting impression. Participants are invited to bring in previously written material or works in progress to review and play with. Participants in The Way We Glow may expand on the writing prompts that we explored in June. We will look at examples of metaphor in poetry and practice writing our own.
