This Tuesday morning yin yoga series explores the yin yoga style, a unique style that utilizes gentle passive stretch to access your deep joint tissues and increase your flexibility more profoundly than the dynamic yang (movement-based) styles of yoga. Yin can round out your active yoga practice giving you the opportunity to ease into deeper flexibility.
Adding a yin yoga, quieter aspect to your healthy lifestyle practice can introduce you to the possibility of physical/emotional/mental equilibrium by offsetting the more intense aspects of life with the yin softer more contemplative modes of life. A regular yin yoga practice will help you to evolve your ability to open up and connect with your life/yoga experience as it is, rather than holding on to resistance.
