Yin Yoga for Relaxation is a slower, more meditative approach to yoga, where postures are held for longer periods of time than other styles of yoga. The long-held postures target your deep connective tissues, like your fascia, ligaments, joints, and bones.
This intentional practice creates space to turn inward and tune into both your mind and the physical sensations of your body. Yin yoga helps you stretch and lengthen those rarely-used tissues, while also teaching you how to breathe through discomfort and sit with your thoughts.
*All levels are welcome – from beginner to experienced.
MEET YOUR TEACHER:
Carrie Taylor considers yoga to be an exploration of self – where she encourages students to turn their attention inward to understand what is real in each moment. She specializes in slow flow and yin yoga and is a Certified Consulting Hypnotist which is reflected in her dreamy guided meditations. Her superpower is to sense and adapt to whatever type class the group is needing.
