Yin Yoga- Virtual

We Thrive yoga is back in our virtual studio with our resident yoga instructor Carrie Taylor! Carrie is offering her classes by donation during these interesting times and will meet you virtually, in your own space at home.
Join her for this yin series that follows the chakras. Each week focuses on a different chakra and is centered around movement and poses that nurture and open the flow of energy in and around that chakra.
Yin yoga targets your deep connective tissues, like your fascia, ligaments, joints, and bones. It’s slower and more meditative, giving you space to turn inward and tune into both your mind and the physical sensations of your body. Yin yoga helps you stretch and lengthen those rarely-used tissues while also teaching you how to breathe through discomfort and sit with your thoughts.
