Sarah Angela’s Story
Sarah Angela spent her early childhood living on the British Columbia West Coast and then in Africa, India, Singapore & Indonesia. She experienced personal trauma in boarding schools and her healing journey brought her to a place of joy and freedom in life.
She now shares this sense of grounded ‘ok-ness’ with others, as a teacher, facilitator and therapist, helping others to find their own ‘ok-ness’ and beyond it into their own joy.
Sarah Angela sees her role as providing hospitality to the body, mind and soul of each client who comes to her.
What is psychotherapy?
Psychotherapy addresses personal difficulties. It allows an individual, family, or couple, to talk openly and confidentially about their concerns and feelings with a trained professional. Almost all types of psychotherapy involve developing a therapeutic relationship, communicating and creating a dialogue, and working to overcome problematic thoughts, feelings or behaviours.
A psychotherapist is one who engages clients in talk or experiential therapy in order to help improve: quality of life, satisfaction in relationships, functioning in society, performance in work or play, general health, and well-being.
Sarah Specializes In:
Spiritual Psychotherapy approaches each person as a spiritual, emotional, mental and physical being. The best of traditional psychotherapy approaches are combined with current holistic modalities to help a person explore their authentic self-expression. Spirituality is explored in the context of therapy in whatever way the client is most comfortable.
