This Tuesday morning Yin Yoga series explores a releasing Yin yoga style, a unique style that utilizes gentle passive stretch to access your deep joint tissues and increase your flexibility more profoundly than fast paced dynamic Yang (movement based) styles of yoga. Yin yoga pairs well with your active yoga practice giving you the opportunity to ease into deeper flexibility. Adding a Yin Yoga, quieter aspect to your healthy lifestyle practice can introduce you to the possibility of physical/ emotional/ mental equilibrium by offsetting the more intense aspects of life with the Yin softer more contemplative modes of life. A regular Yin yoga practice will help you to evolve your ability to open up and connect with your life/ yoga experience as it is, rather than holding on to resistance.
